PHASE 4 - May 1 through July 1

PHASE 3 - April 11 through May 1

PHASE 2 - EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 28, 2021

ARRIVAL & ENTRY RULES FOR IN-PERSON CLASS:

Arrive early. Please arrive 10-15 minute prior to your class time. Dancers and any accompanying family members/parents/guardians are all asked to wear a mask for arrival/exit procedures.
Socially distance as you line up. Please remain in vehicles until prompted by the teacher to line up outside the lobby door. Please maintain at least 6 feet distance from the next dancer/family unit.
Temperature check. Dancers will enter the studio one at a time, upon the invitation of the teacher. The teacher will take the dancer’s temperature and relay the temperature reading to the parent/guardian or student. Parents/guardians are to remain outside.
Digital Studio Waiver & Symptoms Screening. Parent/guardian or adult student will then enter the temperature reading into the Digital Studio Waiver. The form is available at the teal button above.
Teacher invites dancer to go to their “lane.” As the parent/guardian completes the Digital Studio Waiver, teacher will invite the dancer to proceed to their individual dance “lane” in the studio.
Parents, please remain on site until teacher confirms that your Digital Waiver has been received.
Reminder: Dancers only. Please remember that during Phase 2, only dancers are permitted in the studio. Parents/guardians/family members are not permitted inside except for emergencies.

IN-PERSON DANCE CLASS RULES

Class capacity policy: With very limited exceptions (specifically sibling pairs), Phase 2 in-person classes will be kept to 5 or fewer dancers, with other dance classmates attending at the same time via Zoom. There will only be one teacher on site; other teachers/assistants will be on Zoom, supporting virtual students. There will only be one in-person class per day (e.g. no back-to-back classes).
Stick with your group. Dancers must remain with their groups, as described in the schedule below. Dancers are not permitted to swap places with dancers in other groups.

Mask policy. Effective October 1, masks are required to be worn throughout dance classes. Teachers will instruct students in safe ways to remove their masks if and when necessary for their medical safety. Dancers who use inhalers and other medical devices should bring these to every class and notify their teacher(s) about their needs.
Social distancing policy. Social distancing of 6+ feet will be required and strictly enforced during Phase 2. “Lanes” will be taped to the studio floor, and dancers will be required to store their belongings and dance in specified areas within their own lane. Dancers must not cross into other dancers’ lanes or otherwise encroach on the required social distance of 6 feet from other persons. Update September
21: following teachers' guidance and instruction, dancers may be invited to work on the blocking for their dances. Social distance must be maintained at all times.
Bathroom policy. Please use the bathroom prior to class. During class, we ask that dancers keep bathroom use to the minimum. The high-touch surfaces in the bathroom must be sanitized after each use (toilet, sink, soap dispenser, door knob, light switch).
● Lobby monitor. For children’s classes, teachers request the assistance of one parent volunteer – per day – to serve as lobby monitor. This volunteer will ensure the bathroom is sanitized after each use, will support the teacher in enforcing Safe Studio Policies, and will provide other assistance as requested by the teacher. The lobby monitor will remain in the lobby during dance class.

EXIT RULES AFTER IN-PERSON CLASS

Masking for exit. Please put your mask on for dismissal.
Dismissal from front door. Dancers will always be dismissed from class, one at a time, from the front glass double doors (on the dance floor).
Complete Digital Waiver Form – EXIT. Please fill out the quick “exit” portion of the Digital Waiver.
Cleaning. Teacher (and/or lobby monitor/adult student volunteer) will follow the cleaning protocols prior to locking up the studio.
