Performance Dress Requirements

Girls:

Beginner: White blouse with collar; plain black, above-knee skirt or skort.  Black bloomers must be worn with a skirt. Poodle socks, ghillies, McTeggart braided headband.  Hair must be worn back off the face.

Advanced Beginner/Novice:  Beginner costume or McTeggart school dress with black bloomers, braided headband, poodle socks, ghillies.  Wigs are optional.

Novice and above:  Solo costume with matching bloomers plus headband/tiara.  Wigs are required.

Note:  Dancers wishing to compete in figure dances at a feis must wear a McTeggart school dress.

Boys:

Plain black pants, long sleeved white shirt with a collar, black socks, black reel shoes.  Tie is optional.

Parade Dress Requirements

Attire is appropriate to the weather of the day.

Girls:

McTeggart school dress or McTeggart warm-up suit or plain black pants, plain black sweatshirt, white turtleneck.

Boys:

Plain black pants, plain black sweatshirt, white turtleneck.

All Dancers:

Plain black shoes (dance sneakers, jazz shoes, black tennis shoes), black tights or black socks, McTeggart fleece earwarmers, black gloves.
