Brooke started Irish dancing in October of 1999 after seeing the McTeggart Dancers perform at a fall festival. She has been coaching since 2004. Brooke is a Preliminary Championship dancer. She is studying under Maureen McTeggart Hall and would love to become a certified teacher (TCRG, or Teascagoir le Rinci Gaelacha) . Right now, she is enjoying competing. Her goal is to move into Open Championship.

Currently, Brooke is working as an Administrative Assistant at St. Luke United Methodist Church, managing the office and all of the graphic design production of the church. She is in the process of applying to graduate schools for a Masters in Creative Writing. She is married to Aaron Harris, who is in medical school. Whereever life takes her, Brooke hopes that Irish dance will always be a part of her life.
