Junior Coaches

Abby Bray

Abby Bray has been dancing with the McTeggarts since 2003 and is currently competing in Open Championship. She has been coaching since 2008 and loves working with kids. She attends Mars Hill, a home school cooperative, as a junior and it keeps her very busy. Outside of school and dance, she has fun riding her horse and spending time with her family and friends. Abby is thankful for the ability to dance and to share her love of this sport with others.

Madison Stewart

Madison Stewart is a fifteen-year-old student at Lexington Catholic High School. She has been dancing with the McTeggart Irish Dancers for almost five years and is competing at the Preliminary Championship level. Madison enjoys working and dancing with her students and friends and hopes to continue to do so for as long as possible.

Claire Kellen

I'm Claire Kellen. I am a sophomore at Lexington Catholic where I run varsity track, I play the flute in band, and I'm involved in French club and a community service club. In 2012 I will have been Irish dancing for 12 years. I am in the Preliminary Championship level and I have competed at the Oireachtas 8 times and the North American Nationals for the first time this past summer. My current goal is to move into the Open Championship level and it has been my dream for as long as I can remember to one day dance at the World Championships.

Hailey Bishop

My name is Hailey Bishop, and I have been dancing with the McTeggart Irish Dancers for 9 years. I am a sophomore at SCAPA Lafayette, where I do ballet as a part of the Arts Program, and Beta Club. I would like to attend the University of Oregon, and eventually get my certificate to teach Irish Dance. I currently compete at the Preliminary Championship level, and my goal is to move up to Open Championship level. I have competed at the Oireachtas Regional Championships 3 times, and participated in the National Championships this past summer. I am thankful for the opportunity to dance with such a family-like organization, and hope to do it for as long as I can.
